Where Can I Get a Copy of the Modbus Protocol Specification?

 You can get a copy of the Modbus protocol specification by visiting www.modbus.org. There are three documents (1) The application layer protocol which defines the function codes and addressing

(2) The definition of use over a serial line (RTU)

(3) The definition of use over Ethernet (TCP).
